What does it mean to be a church member?
Church members take on a more formal role in helping to guide some of the decisions that get made about the general running of the church.
Church membership also comes with an invitation to become more involved by joining one of our teams which help facilitate different aspects of the ministry of the church.
We ask that members support the church by serving, giving and caring for others, according to your means, gifting and passions. The church is entirely run according to the generous contributions of time and resources which the members provide.
Whilst it may not be possible for you to attend every church meeting, there is a reasonable and practical expectation that you can attend them regularly.
As a church member, you will also be expected to uphold the vision, values and beliefs of the church, whilst seeking to live a graceshaped life according to biblical principles in a way which is a positive witness to our local community,
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” - Ephesians 2:11-12
