Why give?

At New Street Church, we recognise that everything we have comes from God, and that He has entrusted us with the responsibility of stewarding our resources wisely.

With this in mind, we encourage those who call New Street their church home to give regularly and generously, in proportion to their income, to support the work God has called our church family to do. We want each of us to play our part willingly, giving in response to the abundant generosity God has shown us.

We ask only that you do not give out of a sense of pressure or obligation. The Bible teaches us to give generously and cheerfully from what God has provided.
